HFC-227ea fire suppressant agent is the most commonly used replacement for halon-1301 in total flooding applications. HFC-227ea clean agent systems are employed to protect critical installations formerly protected by Halon 1301- these include:
• Telephone switch rooms
• Data processing centers
• Process control rooms
• Museums or other rooms housing art and historical collections
• Facilities where water damage from sprinklers must be avoided at all costs
